The work looks at ordinary life as if it were slightly performing for the camera. People, animals and objects appear playful, posed, damaged or out of place, never quite settling into what they seem to be. The title suggests celebration, but the photographs move between attraction and unease, tenderness and something harder to name. What begins as a collection of small encounters slowly turns into a world where everything feels familiar, but not entirely safe.
